Full hand concealed to protect against thread drift.

It is my observation that every suit jump overcall over a 1-suit opener is described as an "aggressive" weak jump overcall. Not merely a "weak" jump overcall, but an aggressive one at that.

We are helped a bit by the limitations on HCP and TP later in the same description, but if every hand within those limits qualifies, then the term "undisciplined" should be substituted for "aggressive". To my mind the term "aggressive" implies "weaker than your normal weak". Or at the very least "at the weak end of the weak scale".

OK the vulnerability here argues against for some caution, but this is just one example. There are plenty of others where I have seen a jump overcall on a borderline normal 2/1 overcall at white.

Not to mention that including "aggressive" in the description takes up valuable real estate in a crowded and restricted amount of space available for the description, space that could be better used for more meaningful information..
