Yup, just add it to the pile. Just one more example of GIB doubling with a hand type of the non-classical 3-suit variety and then being totally incapable of following up on it. Seen enough of these now. The problem is fully known, now it is just a question of when it gets addressed.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

For me, I would better jump 3 over opening 2, it would be just consistent with Gib CC.

Great point Lycier. The strong jump overcall over a Weak 2 is missed by most players in GIB tournaments, but I have found it to be extremely effective. And yes, this hand qualifies.

OOPS LOL. This time it is GIB who missed the overcall. I often misread hands where GIB has a strong hand opposite the human's weaker one, since this never occurs in the tournaments.
