Many Thanks to BBO for Vu Graf of BB Chennai and all other Vu Grafs we get to watch for last so many years.

You have now made us Addict. And that too Free !!! Please Never Ever Stop this facility.

There were many times play of hand was missed by Vu Graf operator it was wound up by giving final result of the board.

If possible , you can instruct Vu Graf Operators, to in due course upload the correct sequence of Bidding and Card Play. This is for any Vu Graf, this helps when referring to deals later on, some times even after few years.

How do you expect them to do that?

It is a lot of work. If the BBO-recorded contract is different from the official result then one could investigate, but if the order the cards were played is not in the daily bulletin it is probably impossible to reconstruct. And if the results are consistent, it is almost impossible since you don't know which hands to look at.

I'm not sure how you expect them to do it. Are they supposed to go find the players in the match, and ask them to recite the play in every hand that the operator missed?

OK. Probably it is very difficult task. As some times players play very fast, and BBO operator can not keep the pace.

Anyhow, the spectators need to see authentic playing records if possible since this is a core content of the bridge game, assume that operators can't provide it,what do you let us watch?even this is a tough work.

Vugraph is not an official record of the play of the hands. It's a best-effort attempt to allow spectators to watch experts play bridge.

There have been experiments in the past with using cameras that can read the cards and send the play records to BBO. So far, they haven't been reliable enough to replace human operators. Eventually they'll probably be improved. But since it requires complicated setup, it will probably be used only for selected major tournaments for a while.

The cheating scandals have also fueled interest in using computers for important tournaments, instead of playing them f2f at tables. If that catches on, the Vugraph will be automatic.
