Cannot See .pbn and .lin files in NetBridgeVu format Cannot See .pbn and .lin files in NetBridgeVu format

I used to generate Bridge Hands using Deal Generator, Hand Generated which could be saved in .pbn format ( what we see on BBO ),
when that file is opened, we can see the hand and when closed , that file will be there,
but one more file of same name and contents will be created, but with .lin extention,.
Both these files we can open any time.

Now last few days some screw up has happened, ( this computer has Windows 10 and old one which i was always using had Windows 7,
but that computer is now non- operative for time being , needs some repair )
When I try to open .pbn file, Error Message is displayed, Missing or Corrupt language file. Program Aborted.

Then it is not opened, but something happens and so many folders get created viz. temp, convcards, conventios, constriants, lists, bm-results, players,
and .lin file with same name.
When click to this .lin file ,
it asks How do you want to open this file. Look for an App in the store.
You click OK and you see
Results for " lin "
File View and Edit
Pro Edition CSZ.
I think it asks you to make some payment,
I have submitted the file to Microft and waiting their reply.

I am not a Software trained person, I was Captain in Merchant Navy and can operate Computer for my use without much problems like Excel, Word etc.

Please Help Me to Get Back NetBridgeVu type display for .pbn or .lin files.

Nobody seems to have any solution to offer.

I don't know if some Tech Person in BBO also is part of this forum or only players ?

Try reinstalling NetBridgeVu

It should associate itself to .lin extension as part of the installing process.

Thank You Gerardo.
I did that 2 days back, I installed BBO again.
I was afraid to do that before for losing my BBO already installed old type version, if i make some goof up. As I am not comfortable handling web version and prefer old version. I found Web version is good only for TD for Score Adjustment.
Finally I decided to take risk, and now everything looks fine.
I wanted to wait for 1 week, to make sure all is fin and then report here that no more help is needed and my problem has got solved.
