This hand from instant tourney
4 lead won by A
all declarers shift to dummy in
who start with 9 ROH inject J make it -1
who start with 7 Bot smashes his p K with A making life easy for declarer ?!
any one can explain or is it just a bot issue?

FYI this should be posted in Gib discussion forum.

On bidding and lead declarer is marked with 1 and 6 or 7 .
So partner has 0 or 1 . So playing anything other than 3 helps declarer. East should let declarer guess. Even playing the J on 9 is wrong if East plays small and declare plays Q East gets A & J.
Gib uses a set of hands with double dummy analysis to make decisions. with the basic bot it doesn't use enough hands and often gets things wrong. Advanced bot might do better.

If GIB is using double dummy analysis, it presumably doesn't understand the concept of letting declarer guess.
