A moment ago I have been host at a Main Bridge Club table. While the cardplay of Board 26 was under way, East left the table and was automatically replaced by a robot. North, the declarer, had played a card, so it was immediately the robot's turn to play. However, nothing happened. I called BBOHELP to the table but it seemed like they did not see the problem. Eventually, West left the table, too, and was replaced by another robot. Apparently this triggered the East robot to play, and the board was played out.

Suggestion is to fix this, maybe a timing problem that occurs rather seldom and is difficult to reproduce.

I've moved the thread. The suggestions forum should be used for requesting new features, not reporting bugs. The "suggestion" that bugs should be fixed is implicit.

Occasionally the software running the robot gets stuck. The system monitors for this, and if it doesn't play for too long it gets restarted.

Can you boot a stuck robot and then re-seat it?
