MP, Instant, 34

Just a fun auction really. Not sure that it is particularly instructive.

Just another example of GIB's motto: "credas inimico".

Irony is that it makes at D/D on any lead. Come to think of it, Heart to Ace at trick 2 and Spade up is not that hard to find at singe dummy.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

Why is Gib introducing ratty ? Gib has fit and finally decides at 5-level to mention it.

I don't mind East introducing the ratty suit at the 2 level... but it should show more than 4, so he doesn't feel compelled to rebid it rather than supporting over 3.

In competitive auctions where your weak and may only get 1 bid should support partner rather than making neg double or bidding new suit
