Maybe not the highest priority but sometimes it seems that GIB reacts like some of the LOL/LOGs at my club who automatically pass doubles without using judgment.

This double was actually just defined as 3+ diamonds, 12-22 total points. So I can't believe that the sims say it must leave it in.

Its mental bidding 3 with that- it should be for 10+HCP and 4+. This is a simple 5 or 4 cue.

South has several options over 4: pass, double, bid game, investigate/bid slam. So, it seems odd to me that the description of the double (one of the several options) is exactly the same as the description of the 1 opening bid. Doesn't the selection of "double" restrict opener's hand in any describable way?
