dont know where to even start with this bidding

The handviewer link seems non functional now in BBO.

The bidding went:
1C (3D) P (P)
X (P) 4D?! (P)
5C (P) 5H All pass

Why not simply bid 4H to the takeout double? Why go through an inane journey of bidding 4D?

The out of control robot bidding makes it impossible to play 5C. I *have* to play 5H in a moysian fit, or simply
allow them to play 3D. grrrrrrrrr.

Sorry didn't see that his URL had cut off the last bid instead of just being garbled.

Agree with 4H being a better bid than cue with the given hand.

Think South has a pretty clear 4♠ bid; 5♣ needs to be better defined as a stronger hand with 6+ clubs.
