There are not a lot of beginners on the forums, but there are plenty on BBO. Why not join the Beginner Intermediate Lounge. You will quickly find new partners and quickly improve your skills.

Lots happening in the Beginner Intermediate Lounge. Go to this link for a calendar of event - all FREE!! Hosted play times are a good way to meet people in a friendly environment. Go to the BILies Retreat section of the Public Clubs.

To become a paid member and be able to access the library, mentoring program and other benefits, check out www.bilbridge.com

Link - oops must have forgotten to include:

Not giving any indication of your time zone could hinder your chance of a favourable response. Just a thought.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq
