Sorry I didn't get to post here before. Susina asked while the BBF team was playing whether they can play again at 8PM so that was it. Not much time for democratic elections sry.

Lost by 7 in 20 boards, we were quite close! We played 3NT instead of a grand slam due to an annoying system flaw, then went for -300 in consecutive vulnerable partscores, and towards the end we had a defensive misunderstanding that cost a game swing (really my fault). But we also scored a few game swings, that's a nice feeling for a change!
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

I have no idea what drove my partner to open with xx AJ5 xx AJ8xxx vulnerable but it worked! :)
