This is kind of an elementary thing that GIB should get right regardless of his hand.



3 should not show "6+, 12-15 hcp." It should show "have a nice cup of shut up, partner."
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Yet you almost have that and the hand can be made if you assume GIB will stuff up and not keep leading rounds of diamonds. North's hand is a bit extreme for 2 raise.

Just curious, did you make it? I know 4H was a bad bid but it looks makeable with the very friendly lie of the cards.

No, they defended it double dummy (playing diamonds constantly), the play is included.
