Hearing my swearing "why don't you cue p???" from the other thread, GIB decided to make amends here:



Two things that he should have done/should be implemented:

-2 should be natural after the first x and I think a better choice
-after my third double he really just pass and not "cuebid" 4. 3x is down one, maybe lucky but if they make I'm happy to take the blame.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Lead all four diamonds from the top, forcing dummy to ruff, establishing your K.

Is it really possible to make a third takeout double in one auction, when partner didn't pass either of the first two?

It is a great pity for what you said,according to Gib CC,Gib bidding 2 is showing 11hcp held in its hand,only.

Excuse me. I wonder what 2 by North would show over XX after East has opened 1 and West has shown 3card support with his redouble. That should be the 11+ bid.
