Watching Grue and Moss practice bid.


they seem to have many relay type auctions, a combination of what may be called 2/1 or strong club and pure relay. Not sure

BBO for a while has discussed transfers by responder after opener opens. I thought this was the next big thing, not discussed often in magazines.


I note now it seems top class has moved to the next level. Opener rebids are transfers. I noticed Chip Martel discuss this sort of stuff. So new I may not even phrase it correctly.

They play 2 different systems depending on vul, strong club or natural. In their strong club auctions they have some relays.

Transfer rebids from Opener are also quite playable and have been written up in a number of places. They can be played with or without transfer responses.
