I couldn't think of an excuse to bid 4

I scored 21% for making game in partscore, thoroughly deserved.

I took a look at the sequences of those who reached 4. Most (playing an earlier version of GIB) mirrored my auction up to 3S, whereupon North committed to 4S, which I think fairly reflects the power of the North hand. Something has happened in the upgrade to GIB32 for it to think otherwise.

Perhaps it is not worth game, and I just got (un)lucky? But I don't think I can be much weaker. OK, I could have been 5332, and maybe I could have had more wastage in Hearts. The Diamond Q is obviously upgraded in value. Should I have bid 4 on the basis of these factors?

North's Heart shortage is a more important feature of his hand than the Diamond suit, in my view, but GIB has no system to show splinter game tries. That said, I know that it is contaminated evidence, but I feel that I would have committed to 4S with North in a normal game.

Looks like North can't admit to having 13 total points after he passes in first seat.
