Problem Detected With Robot Removed from tournament, entry refunded

I've never seen this happen before... during the auction on Board 4, LHO-GIB froze... after maybe 10 seconds, I got a message saying an error was detected with the robot, and I was withdrawn from the tourney and my entry refunded. Everyone else seems to still be playing. Any ideas what causes this?
