Any idea what 3C would have meant? This is not an easy hand to bid without detailed agreements.

Well 2C is 4th suit forcing, 2H is absurd. What do you want GIB to bid? What is 3C?

I am pretty sure that 3 is to play - a bar bid.

3 should, in fact, be a bar bid. It has come up with some regularity after 1NT rebids in BBO (which employs it for hands that are much stronger than the originators intended), and its use in this situation is in the same 2/1 system books that document its use after a 1NT rebid.

If 3 is a bar bid, what description would be provided, something like "4+; 6+; 6-10 total points"? This certainly comes closer to describing the actual hand than "balanced minimum" does.
