I have an iMac OSX 10.6.8 (software update says my OS is up to date. Starting last week I have been unable to play bridge online. I get the message about a blocked plug-in from Safari version 5.1.10(6534.59.10). Security preferences Internet plug-ins: allow java and allow all other plug-ins are checked. Web content Enable JavaScript checked and block pop-up windows unchecked.

This happens if you don't have an up-to-date version of the Flash plugin, it's an OS X security feature. Go to www.adobe.com and download the latest.
