4 tables and hrothgar won, with navahak close behind: http://webutil.bridg...3178-1417979193

See you next Sunday for another indy.

By the way if you prefer pairs let me know, I can set these up either way, just feel indies are easier to enter since you don't need to pair up with someone.

Things were going great up until the penultimate round...

My one request would be to round out the field with robots rather than random players...

(The robots play better and they don't wander off in a snit()

But why do they all seem to leave while/after playing at your table? :P

Maybe require some reasonable TCR? The guy who left after 1 board and has now withdrawn from 77 of the 106 tournaments/team matches he's entered in the past 30 days probably shouldn't be allowed to play. Ditto for the guy who played 1 hand as a sub and has about the same completion rate.

Restrictions only apply when registering, and the tourney is already restricted to BBF members only. Randoms come in as subs either to fill in sitouts, or when someone loses connection and I can't find another BBFer / friend around to invite. I usually check their stats and all, but sometimes there's only one or two, and I have no choice. Either take those or block the whole table for too long.

There is no option to use bots as subs, sorry. Also there is no option to use bot+bot. Robots can only get in if I set the tourney as pairs and someone registers with a robot from the beginning.

Happy Birthday to Aurora and Thanks to her for directing. Congratulations to Hrothgar for winning!
I enjoyed playing, in spite of a flaky connection. I like individuals but slightly prefer match-point scoring.

Yeah. See absolute average scores.

hrothgar: 4.8 IMP/board
me: 2.2
flavoneus: 3.5

I was just lucky to score small plus all the time. So you were destined for a very high score until the penultimate round :)
