Assuming a standard-ish system, what is the range you'd expect for this 3C rebid by opener?

1D-(1S)-X-(2H); 3C [double promises 4+H; 2H was natural]

What about if advancer had just raised to 2S?

Thanks,

ahydra

I think it shows distribution/suit quality more than strength. If so, vul is relevant, since it's partly a competitive bid, so I wouldn't expect P to bid it suicidally when vul.

I would expect something like good min to med (i.e 13-17 H or equivalent in distribution).

Typical good-bad 2NT situation though. (In which case it would show 15-17 H.)
