Guess: Finesse Q. Cash A. ruff a . Cash AK, chucking K. Discard a on T if good. Otherwise, ruff a . Play A and another.

Bread and butter approach here: take ace, disc a club on hearts, finesse spade. Wins with 3-2 spades and king onside by means of 6 spades, 2 hearts, 2 diamonds,

I went with win Ace, AK pitching a club, ruff heart, ruff diamond, if the T is established cash it discarding a diamond, otherwise finesse spade. I might have thought about it wrong though.

Don't like nige1's approach because if Q loses, they cash a club and play a trump, you're losing 2 diamonds, a club, and a trump no matter what.

The spade finesse will be very hard to acomplish once you ruff a diamond

It seems to me likely that the K is with East

A
A,K club discard
ruff

Now Q for a ruffing finesse.
If it looses they will have to play a trump, or you can play a ruffing finesse against the J
If they play trump you can try your luck with the spade finesse.

If you can ruff out the diamond king you ruff another club and play A and another hoping for two trump loser and one diamond loser.

You were right about K position Rainer, how did you reason that?, at the table I reasoned that the auction screamed for a diamond lead from any holding.
