Does GIB do Forcing Passes? Free Individual tournament

I needed a swing in an indy, so I jumped straight to game (in the wrong suit as it could have turned out). Does GIB really use Forcing Passes, and regardless why didn't it crack 5♠?

Sure GIB makes forcing passes, although sometimes it is in the pass out position.
