Bidding in Competition (again) GIB Basic

1.) I know GIB is in the balancing seat, but I would much rather a 2 bid than 1NT.
2.) After RHO GIB rebid the Hearts, anything other than Pass shows 13+ points and essentially forces to game. Why???


Missing 4 on a 5-4 fit, just lucky that 3NT also makes the same number of tricks

lead would have held to plus 1. But really doubler has a perfect hnd any less 3N is going to be down. Gib is stupid with only 4
it should bid 4, 3N a very iffy contract on most hands a single stop not the Axx rarely is enough.
