This is the first time I've used the forum. I have written a book called "The California Club". I'd like to think some of my ideas might be of interest to other strong club players.I'd like to post the book on the forum and make it available for free download by any interested members.Unfortunately,my computer skills can only charitably be described as "needing improvement." I don't know how to post the book. It is 192 pages long and is currently just a file on my computer. Any help from BBO personnel or other members would be appreciated. 00000VS (Vic Sartor)

As far as I know, files cannot be uploaded to the forums. This is general forum practice to protect users from viruses etc. If you want the file to be readily available, then either make your email address known for users to request the file or make a website with a link to your downloadable file.

If you don't want to go through the effort of making your own site, then maybe contact a site like Bridge Guys and send them the file. They would likely be able to make a link on their site for you.

It also seems like something Bridge Winners might be interested in.

There are a lot of sites that give you some free space such as driveway, dropbox, flickr, keepandshare. Set up a free account with one of these, upload the file there, and then paste the download link in forums wherever you please.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

Thanks for all the good information about Bridge Winners and other sharing sites. I'll check them out. As for advice to make my email address available for private requests, here it is: vsartor77@aol.com

To repeat the relevant information about the book for any who might be interested, it is a 192 page description of my personal strong club system. The system draws from several other existing systems (Schenken, Precision, Romex,etc.}but I hope the most useful aspects may be my own original ideas in several bidding areas where I think I have come up with "better mousetraps". Several of these treatments could be added to any strong clubber's already existing structure without requiring major system changes.
I welcome any critiques and/or suggestions. 00000VS {Vic Sartor}

P.S. I am also looking for some good strong club partners for BBO play-especially if they are willing to try my system or at least some of my brainstorms.

You could also put it on your google drive, which is free if you have gmail.

I'd love to read it.

Posting your email address on a public Internet forum is generally not a great idea unless you like spam. A better option is to request interested folks PM you their email addresses.
