I'll play with gordontd and eagles123 is willing to give it a try as well. Cd use a 4th to partner eagles123 if anyone is free and eager :)

I will be around just in case. I will show up about 30 min early to discuss
system notes/carding etc.

Uhm JEC is in China, a little detail that susi didn't think was important enough to communicate until just now :P

But we will play "something", she wants to hold the game anyway.

So next two weeks no BBF vs JEC. We'll restart on November 1st.

So this match turned out to be BBF vs World, 20 boards. We lost by 19 in the end, on the last two boards. Annoying :) http://webutil.bridg...9491-1413050183

We had some pretty boards, such as this one:



Followed by a 12 IMP swing when opps bid a vul game and our side stayed low. Curious about this one actually, maybe I shd post it separately. No thorough bidding agreements either way. 2NT was undiscussed. (East asked "drury, p?" West didn't reply)





Brd 16 I got everything wrong and managed to deliver a contract that was set at the other table. Another 12 IMPs to opps:




We recovered 14 on Brd 18:



With two boards to go, we were ahead by 1 IMP.

Board 19 cost us 10IMPs - eagles posted it separately:



And then uhm... something bad. One more -1100 to add to my collection, sigh.
