One thing the robots are very good at is claims. I have never seen them reject a valid claim nor accept an invalid one. But I have to wonder, why do they accept claims conceding the rest of the tricks when that is not possible? I realized quickly that you must win a trick before you can claim, but I am sure all of us fell victim to that at least once, claiming after the opponent's lead when we had all the tricks, only to find we had conceded them all. I had to feel sorry for the poor guy today who tried to claim 7NT with 13 top tricks after the opening lead, only to find he had conceded -650!

This shouldn't be too tough of a fix.

I agree that robots handle this well. They even make me play the hand long enough to know that the cards cannot split so badly that my claim might not work, never mind whether it actually does or not. (If I'm missing Jxxx of trump, GIB won't let me claim before testing the suit; I have to pull one round to ensure that they don't split 4-0.)
