hi,

I'm new to the site and don't know if this was discussed. A few times my partner conceded a hand which I had no control to reject. My partner didn't know I held the setting tricks, was assumed the declarer had them. Had I the option to reject my partner's claim, the declarer doesn't make the contract.

Is this viable for consideration to enhance BBO to allow for denying partner's claim to concede?

thank you

Hi, and welcome.

It has been mentioned. So far the management shows no inclination to do anything about it.

To be fair, while a cure would be more compliant with the laws, it adds other complications.

Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

Yeah, but it looks like it's been a while. Probably worth mentioning again...

This one, from a decade ago, never even got a response...
