MP, best hand South, instant, pro GIB v 30

Focus on the 2S bid, not the 1N :)

Incidentally, within the confines of a normal 1N opener, I don't think that South backing in with 2D on anything less than a 5 card suit is sensible (if then). So the description should show 5 D, not 4-5 D. Armed with that, perhaps North will not feel under pressure to manufacture a free bid of a 3 card suit on 3 HCP and 3-3-3-4 shape. If bidding at all he could venture 3D (not that I am asking that it be programmed to do that).
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

It's interesting that while Georgi sometimes responds to our issues, he never addresses these hands where GIB bids 3 card suits for no known reason. This time it's only at the 2 level, often it is higher. I wonder why? To me this should be one of the top priorities for fixing.
