Currently when an express tourney is full with 4 minutes to go before it starts there is still a chance to get a spot if someone leaves.

However you need to be very quick on the mouse because as soon as the number of registrations drops to 79 (when someone leaves) it immediately rises to 80 because several people around the world are spamming the register button to get that potential spot.

I suggest a reserve list for express tourneys which would alleviate this problem. Top of the list replaces the next player to leave, that's fair and we don't have to spam the register button in competition for a potential spot before the tournament starts.

Hello Gazumper,

I'll pass this on to the programmers to see if this is something they can do. Doing it this way should show the tournament as full constantly as long as there are enough players signed up and on the waiting list. Not being a programmer, I don't know how hard this would be to implement, but it never hurts to ask.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Jacki :)

If feasible it could be rolled out to a variety of tourneys, not just express
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq
