This one wasn't me, but GIB East didn't bid 1♠ on the first round, and GIB West bid 3♣, never mentioning the 6-card ♥ suit.

On hand 7,
  • it would be nice if the description of 2N included something that wasn't included in the description of 1♣.
  • 2♦ shows 6-10 because 1♦ would be 0-5 and 3♦ would be 11+? Ick.

GIB ducks ♠K presumably knowing that you have ♠A. Given that declarer showed up with ♥KQ I can imagine that you had ♠A in all the sims.
