In a bit of a rush, but North's double is described as simply 20- total points. Not exactly helpful. I guessed to bid 2H, but evidently that was a general force and so it jumps to 6N. What was wrong with a simple club overcall at some point? If the double was meant to show just clubs, then switch my clubs and diamonds. Now what am I meant to bid over it?

Wow that's gross. North should simply bid 2♣ the first chance it got. I think after passing it should just give up and defend 2♦, no reason for it ever to double IMO? Maybe double can be short diamonds.

That 6NT bid is just insane, lol. Because clearly South has ♦AK ♣AQ with RHO opening and LHO responding then making a free bid...

It would be an interesting question what that double should mean- I think very good hand with 5+ hearts and 4 clubs.

I would have thought the black suits. There is more room for a Spade fit than Heart fit, and less certainty of a 5-? trump break.

East's final double is quite smart, though.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket
