BBO is hosting a memorial tournament today in honor of Wojela (Elzbieta Wojciechowska) at 5PM Central European Time (11AM New York Time). All BBOers are welcome.

Wojela, or Ela as most people called her was one of BBO's first yellows, she helped grow the Polish community, was involved in vugraph development, was one of the first to try fun stuff like live video and voice commentary back when such ideas were pretty much SF. She was a very special person, and touched the lives of many. Her home was always open to anyone, she sponsored an impressive number of BBOers in need, helped raise money for a lot of causes, and overall she was an amazing person. In the past few years she focused on her club, BBO Poland.
