MP, best hand south, instant, pro gib 30
Over 2S I was about to launch straight into slam, along with most of the room. But then I made the mistake of mousing over 4S. I should have smelt a rat, because with 5-5 or better shape it is not possible to have only 25 total points if I have 24+ HCP.
Anyhoo, what is North doing passing 4S, opposite a 24+ point (HCP or total, who cares) hand with 5-5 in Spades and a minor?
It is the explanation that is most at fault, I guess. Opposite a "normal" 4S bid, pass is more reasonable.
