In an instant tourney, the bidding went:
1 -1-pass-2
X-pass-2-pass-4
The 2 bid by GIB was alerted as 3- clubs, 4+ spades, 11+ total points.

Surprise, this was his hand: s 98643 h 732 d Q83 c 106
True, I only have 10 fingers to count, but.... :)

I object more to the description than to the bid of 2. Another instance of GIB (in description only, this time) not taking into account a prior pass when determining the meaning of a bid. If North had held 4+S and 11+ points, he would not have passed after 1.

Total points, so add distribution points. 5 for a doubleton, 1 for each tripleton, 2 for the 5th spade, 2 for the Q. Adds up to 11 :D

On the other hand, this may be another glitch in the description algorithm.

It has a perfect strong nt, balanced hand with 15 low card points. I suspect it's just a description bug though.

Definitely a description bug. One you should catch, as a minimum response to a takeout double can't possibly promise any values.

But it's not. The opponents are in a doubled cue bid.
