N deals.
At my table, the auction was:
P-1-1-P (!)
P-2-P-6NT

GIB made and I lost 13 IMPs. Why? Because in tables where S didn't overcall with my hand, the uncontested auction was this:

1-1
2-2 (artificial for GIB. 3+H, showing GF hand)
3-4 (dead minimum with no 3 : 1+ 12-16 TP)
4-4NT (repeats the 3 description : keycard for )
5-6 (1\4 keycards : string rebiddable diamonds)

So, first of all I'm not sure west's trap pass is that hot, but the uncontested auction (reproduced in four tables) seems to reveal some bug in misfit auctions.

I think West's trap pass is clear, assuming not-unfavorable vulnerability.

I think for GIB E to reopen with an X it needs extras, not just a 2=3=3=5 hand.
