1- we understand 2♠ ,sometimes may be forced to raise only with 3 cards support.,but it was too optimistic only with 3 cards support.
2- My double was alerted as takeout double?
No-no,I believe most players should regard this double as penalty ,or what else?

West's 3S is suspect, in my view. I agree with East. Surprised that North passed a takeout X. Perhaps GIB does play it as penalty but the explanation is out.

takeout- what a joke. You don't have enough to do a takeout double of 2♠. suddenly you find better pts or distribution and you can make partner bid at the 5-level?

ITS 100% PENALTY
