I like your raise. The 2 rebid usually shows a six card suit, and you have doubleton honors and sufficient extras to think you might make game.

Partner had a problem after 2, with a bit too much to pass, too few diamonds to preference, too few clubs to raise. Bidding 2 (as JEC did) is one possibility (this can't be GF by a passed hand, and regardless of whether it's natural or 4th suit forcing one round it seems an okay choice); others are bidding 2 short a card or 2NT a little bit light.
