Looks like the easiest 1NT ever.
You have proper strength, shape and you want to play NT from this hand to put the overcaller on lead (which is important for example if the spades are Jxx - A9.

1NT, if I double and partner bids a suit then I.... well I have no idea which is why I bid 1NT and show my strength right away.

Clearcut 1Nt.

Im normally in the X rather than 1Nt camp but here its a textbook example on how to endplay yourself for a tough 2nd decision.

1Nt will avoid most future problems.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

Part of the Neg-DBL convention is to DBL when partner has NOT made a Neg-DBL...
However, at these colors, if pard does have a trump stack, do you really think you can make 800 at 1♠X ( 10 tricks for your side ) because you probably have missed a Vul game.

I can think of three reasons not to worry about getting 1♠ for penalties.

The vul is wrong.
Partner is not likely to have a penalty pass when we have A9 doubleton of spades compared to if we have a singleton.
The fact we have two instead of one spade increases the odds they would have somewhere useful, in which case we have complicated our auction.

I accept this point, but the possession of the 3 card H suit sways me to double.
How many people would rebid 1NT on AQx x Kxxx AKQxx ? Now you have problems if pd has a weak hand with 5H and transfers.

if p has a spade stack (and we have a game) we have a tremendous
chance of setting this 800+ since declarer will have to play out of their
hand the whole time and if p has nothing but good long spades being
in 1sx might be our only chance for a positive score. X also gives us 3
relatively safe places to play if p cannot stand the x where a 1n might
already be bad and leaves us only hearts as a safe haven when p is
weak and has at least 5 hearts. I p can back in with a 1n bid we have
enough stuff to bid 3n (as long as they are not from the school of spade
stop I dont need no stinking spade stop I have 8 balanced points and I
am bidding 1n).

Alright, so pd just bids 2H. You won't be happy if he does this on 5 poor.
Btw transfers here allow the strong hand to be declarer, so I don't think it is a goofy idea.
