Uhm, yeah. Of course if you click on "GIB" rather than "smispi" you will see that we in fact misdefended. I'll take the blame for this one, should discard high clubs rather than low ones.

Personally I think he misplayed it. If he's going to play this line, why finesse ♠10?

I watched this one.

1. Why did you duck the ♠K?

2. Csaba obviously needs to exit the ♣Q. He should have a very good count on the hand after the hearts are cashed.

It wasnt played nicely, there are a lot to be said about this board but i will not.

Simply i agree with Andy. Andy played for a layout where he would make his 3NT if what he expected turned out to be correct. Dano, after guessing everything correctly, had no hope except than defensive error. And it is not some sort of defense that Csaba is incapable of finding. Csaba is perfectly capable of finding this defense, but we all get caught unguarded now and then. I saw top worldclass players doing worse mistakes than this in big events in vugraph.

At the end of the day, it is not about how big of a mistake(s) we do, but how often we are capable of making those mistakes imo.
