I would play this as just shy of GF with 2 hearts, as opposed to 3H, which would be "I have enough to raise, but you should only accept heavy." Sort of the same as though partner had rebid 2m, where this is a strong raise in m.

I would tend to assume both minors, but there's a nice suggestion at DoubleSqueeze to also use it to distinguish 2 & 3 card heart raises.

That's the same as how GIB plays it, I believe.

You can have different agreements, but standard in my neck of the woods is that it is weak with both minors.

Both minors .

Minors was always how I played this one.

Clee had some idea for this auction that was similar to 'minors' iirc but I don't remember what that was.

yes, it seems you can just bid 3h to invite
2s version of impossible 2s to show a weakish hand with long minor, forces 2nt by you.
direct 3c or 3d would be invite over 2h.

This is something alot of Bergen players play since you cant bid 1M=3m to show a minor suit.

If 3♣/♦ would be invitational then you can use 2♠ as a signoff in either minor. This is how I have always played because I use the immediate 3♣/♦ response for something else.

Otherwise I think both minors and invitational strength is more useful than a second way to invite in hearts, i.e. something like xx x KQxxx AJxxx.
