Why does 1m:2m deny a 4 card major?

Unless partner objects strongly. I like to include four-card majors in inverted minor-raises:
1♣ - ??
  • - 2♣ = INV 10+ HCP 4+ ♣
  • - 3♣ = WEAK 4+ ♣.
  • - 2♦... = FIT 5+ bid suit, 4+ ♣ sound raise to at least the next level.

1♣ - 2♣
??
  • - 2N = MIN flat.
  • - 3♣ = MIN with 5+♣
  • - 2♦ = ART searching for stoppers.
  • - 2♥/♠ = NAT 4+ bid suit

Similarly
1♦ - 2♦ -; 3♣ = ART searching for stoppers.
