In third seat, all vul, you hold

K95 A4 AQ93 AQ93

YOU see your partner pass and your RHO open a weak two spades.

What is your call?

3N. Double then 3N implies heart tolerance.

No five card suit, no ten, there are reasons to sell the hand as 2 NT. But otoh: 2 NT is already 15+-18, quite a big range. How can partner ever judge that I have so much if I bid 2 NT here? So 3 Nt and pray.
Kind Regards

Roland

I believe 16-19 is a better range than 15-18 so Im happy to bid a heavy 2NT here. Playing 15-18 I would just bid 3NT.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."
