I dont know it would be nice if the powers to be would let us in on what GIB does sometimes.
GIB reminds me of playing in an open event back in the seventies or a club game where you
know there are going to be at least one or two obtuse results per hand.

Playing in robot games takes away this amiguity but if you plat with the robots in main room
then you right in the swing of things.

When you play in the main room, do you play with basic or advanced bots? If you want bots that play like in tourneys, you have to rent the advanced bots. If you go with the cheap bots, you get what you pay for. Is $1/day really too much to ask -- it's the same price as a single robot ACBL tourney.

arent you going to get the same results to compare against?
I would assume that if you set up a matchpoint game with GIBs even if you pay $1 day your results are stilled compared
to people using different versions of the bots...correct me if I am wrong on this.

I do understand when playing in the $1 robot game everyone uses the same version from the BBO servers.

But YOUR results should be better, because you have the smarter robot partner.

no my point is that its still compared to other results where theres different
versions of bots out there, likewise my bot might be smarter, but shouldnt my
opponent bots be smarter too :)
