Other than my defense against 6N, I felt pretty good about the set with Wank, and I hope we can play together again.

Here's the first of a few decisions I faced:



1. Agree with my previous calls?

Partner opened in 3. seat. I see no reason to choose anything else then his suit.

p.s. Sorry to bring it up but I thought your opponent played well on that 6N board. Are you unhappy with your defense because you think you should have a full count on the hand at trick 10 and the only chance is for partner to have the H9?

You've seen declarer throw three diamonds. If he were 3451 with 9 (partner having led low from Qx), he would have thrown one heart and two diamonds, retaining both menaces. But yes, declarer played it well.

heart or diamond is the question for me, since I know the full hand I can't tell you wich one I would lead objectivelly, nor wich diamond in case I picked one.
