Hi all, Good news for our european regulars !!

I got confirmation from LL, after Memphis Nationals ( i think middle of next month) we got the TUESDAYS 2 pm Eastern time !!

Now here is the 2nd news. We gotto keep the thursday evenings as well if we can want it ! This one i am not sure if we can do it. JEC must have been happy with our players, their honesty and level. But i think 2 times a week will be insane schedule, what do you all think ? I don't wanna turn down such a privilidge without checking here, can we handle it ?

Please post your opinions.

And we still need to come up with 4 people this thursday !

we have just started, in a couple of weeks we will be in a better position to know if we can go on or not.

I suspect to keep 2 matches alive we would need to reinforce with non BBF members but partners of BBF players.

I'll be available 2PM EST generally, once you've worked through the more expert players.

i think I am playing on march 1, so by then it is obvious that we have dipped well below the level or expert players for these events... so anytime will be fine for you. NOTE, I think advanced is the standard we will have to shoot for, because, we don't have enough experts here anyway.... I think they have to know that for the fourm to provide players to run one event a week, not to mention possibly two, we would be using a lot of advanced players. IF only experts are allowed, someone will have to replace me.

For what it is worth, I am available for both 2 and 7 pm most weeks. i will be in memphis for the nationals in March, but then jec matches will not be played then anyway,

Does JEC's schedule get reorganised after each NABC?

When the ranks of the willing and able thin down to intermediate, let me know. In the meantime, it would be cool to see more forum mates at advanced and expert levels step up. Kibbing the first match was fun. So was reading the follow up posts.

I am available for both sessions if you need
someone to fill in. I have no forum partner
regular or otherwise so maybe a tad of advance
notice will allow me to comare some notes with
whomever I might play with might help. I do not
mind filling in for ten boards or so if someone
else can start but cannot finish.

sorry for the late reply I just now found this post.
If you need a pair I can talk a bbo friend into
playing.

Either of them is fine for my partner and me.

Looking forward to some gnasher vs jec! I feel like I always have poor results against gnasher irl when I get a chance to play against him.

I am ready with regular pd, with someone from BBF we would need to train for a while :)

Sorry but my guess is any meaningful training is not an option.

I mean Jec does not train with his other teammates(other table) in these matches

If you need training with your partner that is another matter. :) we all do....

What I meant is that if I were o play with someone in those in the future I would like to play some bridge with them before we jump into JEC match.
Anyway, with 2 matches now.. I am sure you will need a pair in the future somewhere :)

If it was on Saturday, Elianna and I would be interested in playing sometime.

Tuesday is very much during working hours for us and we'd never be able to play then.

No way am I playing until after PACT. Probably not until the end of the semester, too.
