Wanted to show 3-card support

I may be nit-picking about the descriptions here, but I was completely unsure as to which bids would be forcing and which wouldn't.



I wanted to believe that after 2N=Invitational to 3N, 3♣ would be forcing to 3N, but the range given for 3♣ was the same a given for 1N, so I wasn't sure. I thought it would be right to bid 3♥ over 3♣ to show 3-card support, but the description of that bid includes "17- total points", so I was afraid of being passed there. Why is that point limitation what it is, when the previous 2N bid is broader?

Check out the description of her 2N bid, then look again at mine above. What's up with that? David (below) gets the same description as me...
