I'm signed in on the Forum... click "View New Content"... the most recent topic is "Expert bridge" and I click on it and read the posts... done with that, I click "View New Content" to return to that list... "Expert bridge" (without any posts that I haven't read) is still at top... Shouldn't it be gone from the list?

A similar complaint I have is every Forum always coming up new. I would like all the Forums to be greyed out if I log off without looking at them. Then if I later open the Forum, the threads should come up as new if they are.

In the red bar t top, to the right, there is a clickable text saying "mark all items as read".

That is a help, but next time I log in they will probably revert to "unread".

No, they won't. Next time, you'll get an accurate list of which threads have had new posts since the last time you clicked "mark all as read". It would be nice if you could mark each thread as "always exclude this thread from future 'view new posts' lists", but that's a different story.

Of course, I meant this thread to be a report of a bug.

If your system clock is inaccurate, the post will show as unread until your system time passes the time BBF thinks the post was made.
Yay for the "Ignored Users" feature!

Thanks for that response. My system clock is correct, but I will look to see if it's a one-hour lag in VNC. If so, maybe there's a time-change issue to report.

In your profile settings, you can choose between:

Search Settings
View New Content Method

"Show all content I have not read" (which seems to be what you want)
and
"Show me all new content since my last visit" (which is the default)

Good suggestion. But my profile is already marked as you suggest it should be. I will keep looking :)

Suddenly, the problem is fixed. Thank you.
