Uhm let's make it clear that I was not the one reporting any of those posts. On the contrary I often find them mildly amusing.

Then I guess I misunderstood the reason why you reported one of the posts in the "This new forum" thread, and asked for it to be removed. But that could be because I don't read the forum and lacked appropriate context, which is why I haven't taken action on it.

OK maybe there was one exception in the N/B because this stuff really doesn't belong there. But think of all the posts I haven't reported before claiming I need a thicker skin.

Anyway, since you admit to not reading all those forums, you might want to reconsider making such judgemental comments as

I'm just going by the posts that I looked at because they were reported.

30 years of internet experience? How many is that in real, human years? Or do you count time on ARPAnet?

I first starting reading & posting to online bulletin boards/newsgroups in 1988. That's 24 years.

I started using ARPAnet at MIT in 1980, and I was online when the ARPAnet turned into the Internet, New Year's Day 1983. I was also reading Usenet newsgroups before the Internet, when it was distributed via UUCP dialups.

So yes, I really do have about 30 years of experience with online discussions.
