Today we had a broadcast from Germany and although it showed fine in the download version, BBO TV and the flash version didn't show the cards. No idea why, perhaps it has to do with "pairs" setting?

Thanks for reporting this, Gerben.
I am not sure why, but apparently the server doesn't like it when the operator of a "B" type pairs broadcast selects a closed room deal.
This shouldn't be a big deal in practice since the concepts of open/closed room don't really make any sense in the context of a pairs tournament.
If there are going to be additional segments in this event, I would suggest you tell the operator to use an "O" type broadcast. If there is some reason for preferring "B", then I suggest you tell the operator that, when REDEALing, select only open room deals to be shown to the audience.

This reminds me of an issue that has cropped up in the past when I used "B" coverage to broadcast a triangle where the boards are stationary and the pairs move at the half-way point. Essentially I dealt to o1, o2, o3, etc and then c1, c2, c3, etc after the move. I know this caused problems for kibitzers watching via the flash client at the time (April last year). It's a shame as it was quite a neat way to broadcast a triangle.
