Any live bridge in or around Alnwick, while recharging batteries for a week?

My knowledge of clubs stops at Berwick-upon-Tweed which is about 30 miles north. It meets on a Thursday evening during the summer but these sessions are aimed at new players to duplicate along with a few club regulars (http://berwickbridgeclub.co.uk/). I suspect it would not be worth the drive for you bridgewise.

I don't work for BBO and any advice is based on my BBO experience over the decades

Easy to strike south towards the population centres and play any day of the week you have spare. Morpeth club on a Monday is the closest, 20 miles, and is (I dare say) a higher standard than Alnwick. http://www.bridgewebs.com/morpeth/ They have a "need a partner" contact.
